Heidi Rees,
Speech Pathologist,
B.A., B. App. Science (Speech Pathology), M.S.P.A., C.P.S.P.

Heidi Rees is a Speech Pathologist with 25 years experience. She has worked in Community Health, Schools, Private Practice and even been a flying Speech Pathologist servicing rural N.S.W. Heidi has worked with children aged 18 months to 16 years with a variety of different difficulties and needs.

Heidi is trained in PECS, Blades, PROMPT and DIR Floortime. She has extensive experience with literacy issues, Autism, fluency, speech  difficulties including dyspraxia, early language development and language and learning issues.

Most recently in 2019, Heidi has completed a two day Talkabout Social Skills workshop. A fabulous social skills program. More on Talkabout to come soon on our Pragmatics Language page.

 

Lucy Risk,
Speech Pathologist,
B.Hlth.Sc., MSpPath, M.S.P.A., C.P.S.P

Lucy has recently commenced working at South East Speech Pathology. She has proved herself a hit with the children and will be an asset to the Practice.

Lucy has experience working in early childhood education, early intervention and with children with special needs in rural Victoria and NSW. She is passionate about working with children, their families and educators, to support them in meeting their therapy goals and achieving best outcomes for the child.

Before completing her Masters in Speech Pathology, Lucy worked within public and private metropolitan hospitals. When Lucy is not working at South East Speech Pathology, she also works as a speech pathologist in a community therapy centre where she works with adults living with neurological conditions and lifelong disabilities.
