Heidi Rees,
Speech Pathologist,
B.A., B. App. Science (Speech Pathology), M.S.P.A., C.P.S.P.
Heidi Rees is a Speech Pathologist with over 30 plus years experience. She has worked in Community Health, Schools, Private Practice and even been a flying Speech Pathologist servicing rural N.S.W. Heidi has worked with children aged 18 months to 16 years with a variety of different difficulties and needs. She now owns , manages and works at South East Speech Pathology a small local practice serving Malvern and the local surrounds.
Heidi is trained in PECS, Blades, PROMPT and DIR Floortime. She has extensive experience with literacy issues, Autism, fluency, speech difficulties including dyspraxia, early language development and language and learning issues. Social language skills are a huge part of her current caseload and Heidi uses her Talkabout Social Skills training to help children with friendships, verbal and nonverbal skills.
Tilly Dunn,
Speech Pathologist,
Bachelor of Speech Pathology, M.S.P.A., C.P.S.P.
Tilly graduated from Flinders University in Adelaide with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. She is a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Tilly comes from a background of working within the South Australian Department for Education, and has experience working with children across all education settings – from preschool to adolescence. She is passionate about supporting all children to reach their learning and communication goals, and uses a neurodiversity affirming, evidence based approach to therapy.
Tilly has experience assessing and providing therapy for children with a range of speech, language, social communication and literacy needs.
Kara O’Donohue, Speech Pathologist, Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours), M.S.P.A., C.P.S.P.
Kara is a certified practicing Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Kara has been part of the South East Speech Pathology team for a number of years and is passionate about supporting clients of all ages to achieve their communication goals. She brings a warm, approachable, and client-centred approach to therapy and is trained in Key Word Sign (KWS), supporting accessible communication for all.
Kara enjoys helping clients build confidence in their communication and finds creative ways to make therapy engaging and meaningful.
Mia Dench, Speech Pathologist, Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours), M.S.P.A., C.P.S.P.
Mia is a certified practicing Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Mia has experience working with clients of all ages, supporting individuals to develop confidence and independence in their communication. She is passionate about helping people achieve their personal communication goals, and uses an evidence-based, client-centred approach to therapy.
Mia has experience assessing and providing therapy for a range of speech, language, social communication, and literacy needs. She brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a thoughtful approach to her work, making her a valued member of the South East Speech Pathology team.
Emmanuela Costaras, Speech Pathologist, Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours), M.S.P.A., C.P.S.P.
Emmanuela is a certified practicing Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
She has a particular interest in voice and speech, drawing on her background as a singer to support clients in developing clarity, vocal strength, and confident communication. Emmanuela enjoys exploring creative approaches to therapy and is passionate about helping clients of all ages reach their communication goals.
Her enthusiasm and knowledge of voice make her a unique and valued member of the South East Speech Pathology team.
